Key Stage 3 Our curriculum aligns with the 2014 National Curriculum, emphasising spoken language, reading, and writing. Students participate in regular assessments, including speeches and presentations, fostering active discussion and inquiry. The reading curriculum introduces a wide array of prose, poetry, and drama from various periods, encouraging critical engagement with diverse texts. Writing skills are developed through the study and critical evaluation of reading materials, focusing on both fiction and non-fiction. Weekly "writing challenges" spark imagination, and dedicated skills lessons reinforce grammar, punctuation, and spelling. GCSE Level We teach the Eduqas GCSE English Language and English Literature specifications.
